Classes & Workshops take place right in our shop. Classes are scheduled based on instructor availability. We encourage all forms of needlework and textile art. If you have a talent to share, please contact us above.
Beginning Knitting Series

Join Sew What! for a fun and friendly Knitting Series designed especially for beginners! Learn the basics of knitting in a welcoming environment, with no experience necessary—just bring your creativity and willingness to learn.
The series takes place on Saturdays, September 19, 26 and October 3, 10, and 17, from 1–3 PM. All supplies are provided by the instructor, and classes are limited to just 6 new knitters. All ages are welcome!

Adult Beginning Sewing Series
Saturdays: October 24, 31, November 7, 14 & 21
9:30 AM - 12 PM
Join us for an Adult Beginning Sewing Series designed for beginners ages 19+. Learn basic sewing machine skills and introductory sewing techniques in a fun, hands-on class. Pocket Tissue Covers Workshop

Join Sew What! for a fun, beginner-friendly sewing class on Wednesday, September 23 from 11 AM–1 PM! Participants will learn how to create their own pocket tissue cover from start to finish, with instructor Missy guiding you along the way. Class size is limited to just 6 adult beginners, so be sure to register early! The registration fee is $5, with additional fabric and tissue options available at the start of class. Reversible Slouch Bag Workshop

Join Sew What! for Thursday’s Threads: Reversible Slouch Bag on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 4:30–7:00 PM. This workshop is designed for confident sewing machine users and will teach participants how to make darts and sew a lining while creating a reversible slouch bag. Participants should bring two coordinating ½-yard pieces of woven fabric, and one may be made from upcycled blue jean legs.
